Hadrian’s wall stretches across the north of England, in a part of Britain which is still wild and beautiful. It is close to where I was born in the North of England. Sycamore Gap is probably one of the most well known stretches of Hadrian’s wall.  Here it is in winter when the tree is bare of leaves and the strong winter sun gives strong shadows which add to wildness of this region.
