Cruising down canals sounds remarkably relaxing, but the reality is that you are driving for quite a bit of the day and there’s always something to do! That all said though, there is peace in the slowing of the pace of life that a canal boat offers. Travelling at a walking speed – it allows time to observe the nature that surrounds you. Seeing kingfisher’s hunting is remarkable – they are so fast. It’s a treat to see.
