Lobster Buoys shows the lobster pots and buoys left by the lobster catchers ready to be taken out to their favourite sites again another day. I take a photo of the lobster pots every time I go to the coast or a harbour and I have been determined to make a linoprint of this subject matter for sometime, but the task always seemed too daunting. Well I finally ate the ugly frog and here is the outcome. I love the shapes and light in this piece, especially the ropes. So glad that I have finally got down on paper what I have had in my head for such a long time (well almost ;))
